2016 and I am still getting asked for more baby hats, so here is my latest bonnet.
This little cutie matches the baby Belle booties I did last month.

Another month zooming past there is just not enough hours in the day to knit.
I was asked to do a couple of bonnets (my favourite knitting projects) so thought I would share the results. Love them in lemon and white as well.

Warmer knits for the colder days

Really is turning colder now so what better way to wrap up warm than wearing something you have knitted yourself, or seeing it worn by the person you knitted it for.

This is one of my favourite neck warmers and I guess you like it as well, as it is proving very popular.

Doll dressing is always fun

As requested I have started a doll collection for all to enjoy. It is always fun picking outfits. Then you can mix and match to make your own style. Who said dolls were just for little girls !
These cute outfits will fit 18inch dolls like the American Girl, Our generation.

It has to be done

I know it is only September but you just have to start your Christmas knits now or they will not get done. With so many lovely patterns around it will be hard to choice where to start.
This is one I did last weekend.

Christmas Baby Set

I do love my little blanket projects and this is so good for a beginner or more experienced knitter because you can mix and match the squares to what you like doing. What a great way to learn how to do cables on a small square.

Getting colder started the winter knits

I cannot believe how quick it is turning cold,. The good thing is it gives me more time to Knit (and that is a bonus anytime)

August time alraedy

Well what happened to July turned round and August was here. Started my Christmas in July projects between the start of autumn knits and that was it, August arrived.

Here is a cute little cell phone design that was fun to do. You can make the strap longer and have a little cross body purse.

More planning for Halloween ideas

Finally one Blanket finished or a lovely wall hanging as my friend has said she is going to make. I made a couple of cushions as well using the same pattern.

Well I got a little side tracked from the blanket and did a baby cardigan and these two little cuties.
I must get back to finishing the blanket otherwise Halloween will have come and gone. I suppose the good thing is it can be put away and used each year.

Been a busy couple of weeks with family and friends but still find time to knit, it just has to be done I would go mad without my knitting.
Here is some of what you can see coming to my pattern store later this month. The blanket is not stitched together yet, work in progress. It was really fun to knit not to long a project, the puzzle of getting the squares together and sewing has been the longest part.

Planning ahead can be fun.

Could not resist knitting up this lovely colour even if I am in the middle of other projects. The neck warmer looks so cosy and warm I did a slouchy hat to match. The pattern looks harder than it is to do, the rib pattern for the back of the neck warmer matches well and would make a lovely scarf if knitted longer.
Plenty of time to get those needles clicking for the fall weather, if like me you have a pile of projects stacking up it is good to have patterns sorted ready to do.
Always happy when I am Knitting.

They call it Flaming June

Well here we are into June when the weather is coming warmer and sunnier they say. June is the month they call flaming June, as all the roses come out in full bloom and the garden starts showing all kinds of colour
That got me diving into my wool stash looking for some bright cheerful colours and away I go knitting up some lovely little designs.

Here is the start of  my ideas, have not decided on the buttons yet, should I put white ones on or Peach, decisions decisions.

Well this is the start of my bright June knits do pop by from time to time and say hello.
Always happy when I am knitting

Finally got the buttons for the little cardigan, decided on a very pastel clear peach colour and I must say it does look cute finished.

While I was looking out some colours I come across some lovely odd bits of yarn just waiting to be knitted up into something cool, so I shall be getting my thinking cap on to see what inspires me to use some of the yarn.
Always happy when I am knitting

Decided to use up some odd yarn and added to my Stars and Stripes collection nice and bright so fits in with the June colours

My first blog

Okay this is my first time blogging so it could be fun learning my way round the pages.
It was suggested to me by some very dear friends and knitting followers that I keep them up to date on my knitting activity through blogging, as everyone lives so far apart, a couple of friends even live over the pond.

Well true to my name Seasonknits this week I have been toying with some new pattern ideas for the spring and summer, so watch this space I will let you know what springs to mind !

The past couple of days have been real fun trying to sew together a beautiful stroller blanket I have knitted for my friend in America, looked so easy on paper when I drew the squares, but as we all do with knitting when we are enjoying ourselves I did more of one sort of square than another, extra red then blue, you know how it is. I placed them all on the floor and kept mixing them up till they looked good, an hour later feeling pleased with my effort, in walks hubby and he tells me I have 3 white squares together, so between two of us, another hour later we are done, all placed and ready to sew.

Yesterday I finished the blanket and the result is this, just needs the edge doing then it will be on its way to my friends grandchild.
