November and December lockdown knitting

Wow where has the last two months gone, this lockdown sure makes time blend together. Been so good to finish up some projects and make new ones. Here are a few of my Christmas knits.

September sewing up time

Well it seems the last of the summer is fading fast, cooler evenings and even the odd night with the fire on. I decided September should be sew up month, buttons sewn on and finishing ready to make room for the winter knits, and dare I say it the Christmas knits.

2020 is a year of many things for all of us, but I think we can safely say time has still flown by. I try and think positive in these uncertain times and I am so grateful I have my family and friends Lockdown has given us more family time and coming out of lockdown has made us appreciate our friends more.

So here we go with the start of sewing up, interesting to see my first batch of sewing buttons on seems to be autumn colours. Yet i feel like all i have knitted is baby pink and blues lately.

Finished some more over the weekend, loving this project finishing goal.

August stash busting.

Seems to be a bit of theme knitting going on here, new designs, old favourites and lots of pastel colours.
Top 3 pictures are new designs, bottom two I just love to knit for gifts.

Christmas hat set

Had some small lengths of colour left from other Christmas knits, so made a couple of these sets for my friends twins due in October, so they can wear them from November until the new year. Small sizes so they will probably grow out of them by New year.

Lockdown knitting Fun

I did a few of my favourite patterns during the lockdown time, using up so much of my stash yarn.
It felt good to use so much and even better getting ready to buy more. Two top pictures are a new design that is fun to do, i love it.

Spring baby bonnet knitting

Still working on my stash using lots of small amounts of yarn Feels really good to use up yarn knowing it’s delighting my friend, as her charity table is filled up.
