Hats and Bonnets for January

Well another year is under way Hoping it will be a Happy Healthy one for us all.
This month I am doing a big de stash of yarn and helping my friend with some charity knitting, so we both have a win.

Baby knitting this month

I have been catching up on some baby knitting this month, as a few friends and family have new arrivals between now and the spring. Any excuse really to knit baby lol. 3 lots done so far, 4 more to go by the end of November. Used some of my favourites patterns.

How many WIP do you have?

When I lost my glasses and started searching my little (or not so little ) knitting corner, I surprised myself how many WIP I have on the go. Found my glasses of course and made a mental note not to start any more until I at least finish 3. Lets see how long that lasts lol.

American Girl dolls clothes

My niece came over at the weekend with her American Girl doll and a bunch of outfits I knitted her last Christmas. When am I doing more I am asked, but I had to laugh how she asked.

"Well Auntie a girl has to keep up with the fashion and be warm for winter, so what new jumpers are you making, my doll can model them for you and then look after them in her wardrobe"

I did giggle, and gave her a couple I had planned on for her Christmas box.

Loving the Autumn colours

Started some Autumn knits last week, this little hat set worked out rather nice I think.

Got me looking back at some of my other Autumn colours, so here they are.

Bit of yarn shopping Yes please

When it is too hot to knit it seems like a good idea to have a browse at the sale on Lovecrafts. Then again after buying this beautiful pack (and a couple more) The bank balance dosent agree.
Cannot wait for the postie now.

Post arrived yesterday with some gorgeous colours

Started on my new delivery, the paintbox baby is so soft I am loving knitting with it. I will update with the finished cardigan soon.
